Hi, I recently bought and assembled the IR remote control transmitter and receiver kits K8049/8050 for a rotating TV stand and it all works perfectly. However, my client wishes to control the rotating tv stand from their existing programmable IR transmitter that does all their other stuff, so my question please is ‘what are the codes that the transmitter gives out?’ I’m only using the first four codes. I think I also need to know the frequency of the IR receiver because I need to replace it with something more aesthetically pleasing. A manufacturers part number would suffice. Thank you.
This is custom Velleman code, so the only way to repeat it is by learning it to a ‘learning’-remote.
ok, thanks, do you know what the IR reciever carrier frequency and output type is or better still a manufacturers part number?
It is a universal 38KHz decoder.
and is the output Schmitt, Darlington, TTL? I can probably work it out from the diagram when I get back to the office but it would be good to have it confirmed.
