Hy I am a complete NOOB to PIC’s. So I bought and assembles a K8048 and started to fiddle. This all worked fine until I switched from the PIC16F627 supplied with the kit to a PIC16F877. The flashing went wrong with pretty much random write errors (write error at xxxx Wrote yyyy Read 3FFF).
After some searching on the forum I realised it could be due to the old 300 mhz PIII laptop I am using. I bumped up the process priority to realtime and have not missed one flash since.
Maybe something to built into the app?
