I recently purchased a K8048 and have it directly connected ot the RS232 port on my desktop which is running Windows XP professional. I get the message “no pic on board”. I originally suspected a faulty chip so bought two new ones and replaced it but i still get the same message.
Please search on this forum for possible reason and solutions !
