I have purchased a 4-CHANNEL RECORDER / LOGGE k8047 k8047 is not working.I purchased the item for measuring DC Voltage .When I connect the voltage to be measured(0-5V DC) in the input of the 4-CHANNEL RECORDER / LOGGER k8047 the voltage is dropping heavily which shows the sign of defective and faulty electronics.I bought the item with a great hope for my project work but i am now disappointed.Kindly advise me what I should do next either to sort out the problem or to get a working item. A favor of an immediate reply would be highly appreciated.

As all the inputs have a very high input impedance, it is impossible that they would cause a large voltage drop unless your signal to measure also has a very high output impedance.
If however the output impedance of your signal to measure is lower then, let’s say, 100 KOhms, and you still have a large voltage drop, you probably made an error while building the kit.
I hope you also know that the ground of the kit is also the ground of the signal to measure and of the computer the kit is connected to?
Dear sir,
Thanks for your useful information, I have now sorted out my problem.
Glad to hear that.
You’re welcome.
