K8031 interface with vista

I built a 8031 scope some time ago and it seemed to work fine. I haven’t used it recently but have now tried to get it going on new computer using Vista.
I have fitted a parrallel card which seems to work ok but the software (latest version off web site) can’t find the unit.
I think the problem may be that Vista allocates an address to the card whichthe software cannot use and I cannot find any way of resolving this (or is the interface card duff).
Any suggestions?

You have first to check what is the LPT port address of the parallel port card.
Then enter this address to the combo box on the PcLab2000SE startup screen.
See in this thread a solution to similar problem:

Many thanks - I don’t thinlk I would have ever worked this out.

Solution is :-
Select Control panel
Select hardware & sound
Select device manager
Select port (com & lpt)
recourses
in my case adresses were DC00-DC007
D880-D887

I put in DC00 in the address box and bingo - it worked!!!

Many thanks again
