K8028 Dimmer with transformer

I have the same problem like Rieed!

If I test the kit with a bulb it works correctly.
I connect a transformer (various: block or ring typ) the LED 1 shows fault code 8 (“load to inductive”).
According to the manual this kit K8028 is suitable to connect a transformer for halogen lighting for example.
I tested a condenser in the circuit.
If the capacity-value approximates 10nF there is no fault code, but also no voltage (Usec) at the transformer.
What can I do to connect a transformer (Uprim 230V, Iprim 250mA)?
I use function no.5 (slow on/off).

=> How many transformers I should test? (5, 10, 50…?)

The manual shows a connecting transformer!!!

Which manufacturer is recommendable?

Please tell me first wish type of load (lamp’s), transformer, transformer power, lamp power you are using.
Don’t put extra components in the circuit otherwise the measurment timming will not be correct.
Test first with a 60W normal lamp, check if this works perfectly.
I’m using a Paulmann and EREA transformer w/o any problem.

Dear Electromaniac,

I tested the dimmer with a normal 60W lamp. It works perfectly!
I tested the dimmer with two different transformers
(without / with consumer):

Typ 1 (block): Fa. Weiss / Uprim 230V / Usec 1x12V / Isec 3A
Typ 2 (ring) : Fa. Sedlbauer / Uprim 230V / Usec 2x12V / Isec 2x2,08A

I need a block- or ring-transformer with Uprim 230V / Usec 2x12V / Isec 2x2,5A or Usec 1x12V and Isec 1x5A
