Hi:
This is a great charger and I’m really pleased with my purchase! I have couple of questions on how to interpret the LED indicators:
1.) I have a new 6v 4.5aH SLA that’s been on charge for 18hrs. Now that it’s charged, both the “Float” and the “charge end” LEDs are on. Is this normal to have both LEDs on all the time? Is there ever a situation when only the “Float” LED would be on?
2.) I’ve been charging an older 12v 7aH SLA battery (which I suspect may be bad) After charging, the red “charge” LED is off, but both the “Float” and “charge end” LEDs are on, but glowing very dimly. Does this indicate an overload, or a bad battery?
