I’ve just recently complete this project but the receiver portion doesn’t seem to be working properly. When I press the button on the remote, the receiver LED does not light at all no matter what position CV2. The transmitter appears to be working fine as the LED on it flashes quickly and consistently when a button is pressed. I can tap on the loop area in the receiver area with my finger and the LED will light briefly and fade out. I’ve hardwired the remote and that does not work either.
It appears to be something between IC3 and IC4 toward the receiver. I’ve check all the solder joints and they all look good. Checked connectivity between a majority of the components with a multimeter and that looks good as well. Where do I go next in troubleshooting this?
The transmitter is not transmitting any RF. Flashing led does not mean it is actually transmitting. Hard to verify without a spectrum analyser. Return kit for inspection.
The receiver is not operating correctly. Check assembly. Return kit if necessary.
Code setting is not correct. Double check. Try a different combination.
Check if power arrives on decoder IC’s. Check all parts around decoder IC’s. Check if pin 17 of decoder IC’s changes state when transmitting.
its look like that I have the same issue…but my LED on receiver side light constantly and start fleshing when I press transmitter button…but very small difference if cv2 on correct position. When i hardwired transmitter and receiver is working great
