I’ve got some questions about the K8008 and MK111 timers.
I need to get a 60W 230V light turning on for 40sec and off for 60sec, with the freedom to change those times a bit. Am I able to use the K8008 (just plug it between the mains cord) for this or does this particular timer only work in combination with the k8006 system?
Otherwise am I able to use the MK111? I know the pulse time is only adjustable between 0.5 and 5 sec, but can’t I change that by replacing a resistor?
And am I anyway capable to use it to switch the 230v light on and off, or is it only to be used with lower currents?..
just another basic question about the mk111 then… The relais in the mk111 is a VR15M121C , (VR15M121C : Velleman MINIATURE RELAY 15A/28VDC-125VAC 7A/220VAC 1 x INVERTER 12Vdc)
Is there anyway I can use it to switch the 220/230v lamp? Or do need to search for another relais as well?
(the case is: I was going to make my own kit, untill I bumped into this one, wich is cheap, saves me time, and is adjustable by changing the resistor and maybe the condensator, wich is no problem with a little help from my friends. The K8015 is allmost perfect, except for the fact that it has to many functions for me, wich results in a price wich is too high for me. (because I need 10 units).
