Hello and greetings to Velleman
I have velleman PWM’s long Time in Use, all works great!!
Now, i construct my second PWM for a new project.(Motor control)
I use one Trafo with a secondary Voltage 30V.
The open circuit Voltage is 36 V.
Can i use them, because the IC1 (SG3525)is getting more warmly as i think.
I think the IC is to warm and i decide to unplug the Voltage from the PWM.
The case of voltage is going down to 34,3 Voltage of the PWM operation voltage.
It’s bad to get a 30 V Trafo with a Voltage Control in it.
What can i do?
Edit:I made on test.I use my secondary PWM with a DC Motor 24V and i take an operating Voltage on the DC in board with exactly 24V.After a while, i put my finger on the IC, and it`s warm as the first IC of the other PWM.
So i think, the temperature is normal?
Sorry, i can’t measure the temperature.- I think it’s a little bit more warmly like “finger warm”.
The warmest place on the IC is the left Side on the surface.
The Motor current is 1 AMPERE
Thank you
Steffen
