K6707 Reciever Problem

Hi All
Have a K6707 reciever with no output to the control relay(RY1), the led (LD2) lights up when the remote is pressed but not much else is happening, theres various positive voltages on the board but a lack of negative on the relay coil… any ideas anyone please ??
Thanks

Did it ever work?
What transmitter are you using?
Sure the code setting matches the transmitter?
Sorry, this is almost impossible to troubleshoot from a distance.
However, we can still service this obsolete kit, if you return it for inspection/repair.

Yes been working for years, it acitvates the cental locking.
Transmitter is K6706 both reciever and transmitter are coded together.
I am hoping its componant falier on the reciever end.
Is there a voltage check list I can use to narrow the fault down ? there is contant positive 9 volts on pin 17 of IC1 (UM5758-120A) is this right or wrong ? theres activity before IC1 but not much after it, theres voltages but none change when the remote is pressed, still no joy after I changed the IC though.
Whats the charges to have it checked out by yourselfs of will it be cheaper to buy another kit ??
Thanks Again

Voltage on pin 17 looks OK.
These kits have been obsolete for a while, so most likely you will not be able to source them.
However, we can still service them. Please return both transmitter & receiver to:

Found a partial short on pins 17 and 18 on IC1 which is keeping +9 volts on the output path, when pin 17 goes low the rest of the cirduit works and the relay connects.
Figured its susperct & bought a new IC tested both out of circuit and the old one has 1K4 ohms acrosed 17 & 18 were the new had none, installed new IC & turned it on …now I have 2 ics with the same problem & voltage remains high regardles of code combination or channel. .
Its driving me nuts now so I’ll post to you to see what you think.
