K6000: Timer only?

For my aquarium, I have 4 timers that control the lightning (TL lights)
These are simple, individual plug-between-the-mains-and-the-appliance kind of timers.

Could I use K6000 for this purpose? So just strictly as a timer, without temperature control? Or do you have another timer kit, that is more suited? (The universal start/stop timer not taken into account - since I need a 24h/7day per week program)

Also, if K6000 can be used, how should the lightning be connected to the outputs? Is it inductive or resistive? Or should I use a DC Relay-connection?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

K6000 can be used, but it is obsolete. Some distributors might still have it.
We have plans to release a new 4 ch timer later this year.
Relay outputs can handle inductive loads.
