Hi, i’m having a problem with the parking radar kit.
If i test it on a 12 volt battery, it just keeps buzzing, even when there’s nothing in front of the sensors.
I have no idea what it can be, does anyone please? Thank you.
Make sure you did not swap transmitter and receiver.
Transmitter is marked ‘T’ or ‘S’
Receiver is sometimes marked ‘R’

Didn’t switch the transmitter and reciever.
I’m looking at the guide and i still don’t see what i did wrong?

For another project I built a distance meter based on the Sharp GP2D12 infrared sensor and one PIC12F629. I already thought about building a parking assistent with these parts. Does someone know if the infrared signal is reliable in a car environment? Dust, rain, sunlight etc? Maybe I build a prototype, would this be a good idea for a Velleman kit? Looking at the needed parts, it should be cheaper then the K3502.
