I am having an arc on the k2636 kit.
After connecting mains 230 v no problem but after i connect the same 230v to the vac load after a few seconds i have an arc between the coil a the capacitor next to it.
Can you help me with this?

From what I could see it looks like T3 is damaged
I also wonder it you got the Line and Neutral mixed up from mains and VAC load.
You may want to consider cleaning up the solder joints.
I’ll replace t3 then.
I don’t understand how can line from mains could be mixed with neutral on vac load. The pins from the connectors are soldered on the pcb in just on possible position right?

Did you wire it up like the diagram below?
Yes i did. I made a testing tip with a male connector and two neutral lines and two phase lines to make the connection as shown in the diagram. I dont understand what can be going wrong…
Since T3 looks like it has been damaged I wonder if it is part number BC547 and T4 is part number BC517.
yes they are. anyway i’m going to replace t3. do you have any more ideas?

I have replaced t3 like you sugested, replaced 470uf capacitor and the triac, powered it to the mais afterwards powered the load vac and now it s working just fine.
