K2579 Timer Problem

I assembled the timer and it times perfectly except there is no output from the relay. The relay clicks but there is no current passing to the outputs.

-I am powering it with a 12v battery.
-I am using the circuit to control a 9v electric motor.

Why is there no current?

There is no current because the kit is working perfectly normal.
A relay output is a contact, there is no voltage coming out of a contact.

How do I get it to turn the 9v motor on and off?

Wire the relay contact as if it were a switch in series with the motor…
