K2579 time way out

Out of the box, I’m getting 7 mins max.

I’ve increased c2 to 1000uf and now I’m getting 16 mins.

Any ideas what’s up? I checked the resistors with a DMM as I put them in, so they should be fine…

Check your assembly carefully for shorts, loose solderings, forgotten solderings, part values etc…

…also check for cold soldiering joints.
