K2579 stop problems

Hi, I have purchased a K2579 and connected the relay to A and C terminals since I need a normally open conncetion to start/stop a speed regualtor circut for a fan. I have increased the capacitor C2 up to 470mF to increase time. Start works normally and if left running, the timer stops regullary after a longer time due to bigger capacitor. I can never not stop the fan even by pressing “stop” button, I have to de-energize the circuit. The fan is 220V 70W power. If for test I connect base with emitter of the transistor T1, as long as they are shorted together the relay is de-eniegized, as soon as I remove the short in the transistor the relay is energized again and fan spins. Since this is the second kit I purchase for same problem, can someone help me by identify which component in the kit I have to replace, and moreover, what can I do to solve the problem whith this speed regualtor? (the stop SW2 works and as the timer if left alone stops after selected time by RV1, also the N555 is OK). Is R6 4K7 too little for this 470mF capacitor??

I thank you in adance

Probably, 470µF is the limit for this simple circuit.
Does it work correctly with no load ?
Does it work with the original cap. and a small time selected ?

A more reliable circuit for this kind of application would be the http://www.velleman.eu/distributor/products/view/?id=369866

Hi, I had to replace the kit with a simple step relay. The reason is that the piezoelectric from the oven when activated, sends spikes signals and the K2579 starts closing the circuit by itself.
thanks
