K2579 modification

Is there any way that I can trigger the start button again once the time has elapsed with out repressing the button? My aim was to use this kit for time lapse photography and have the timer operate the cameras remote but out of the box this system is a one shot operation and I would like multi shots with out my input from repressing the start button. The ideal situation would be me pressing the start button with the time delay set at 15 seconds then a pulse every 15 seconds with out me pressing anything until I press the stop button when I have finished taking the sequence of photo’s.

Please checkout the MK111 minikit.

That’s great. Can I ask does that allow for the second timed pulse to be continuous, i.e. every 15 seconds, and if so how do you start/stop this kit?

Pulses are repeated automatically.
Stop unit by interrupting power.

Thats great. Thanks very much.

Ok I have built the MK111 kit and I’m unsure if it is working properly. The LED is flashing as it should but there is no out put. I don’t understand what NO, NC and COM mean and as such I’m lost as to how to wire this to the camera remote control. As I say the LED is pulsing but as far as I can see I don’t have a pulsing output.

That’s normal

There is never comming any voltage out of a relay. A relay act just like a switch.
You must connect the COM and NO (normal open) contacts in series with a load and another power supply.

Hello. Me again! Can you guide me on the MK111 kit please? Can you please tell me when the relay should be making the switch? Should it be doing it in time with the LED? If I have no other power source or load attached as you have described above but do have a power supply in to the printed circuit board that is working the LED should the relay be working? Thanks for all your help. :unamused:

When the LED is ON, the relay make a contact between COM and NO.
