I’d like to fit this unit to a single cylinder Vire 2 stroke marine engine.

The specification states 2 - 8 cylinders - will the unit work OK with a single cylinder engine? If not are mods/work arounds possible?

Should work fine if used in a classic 6 or 12V ignition system with breakers and ignition coil.
