Is it possible to program a PIC 18F452-I/P though icsp if you have the development board k8048?
and is there any programming software for linux that works with that board? I want to quit changeing to windows just to program the pic circuits.

No, PIC18F family is not supported. K8076 can program some PIC18 devices.

Well I looked under velleman and it only says that it is a few 12F 16F but no 18F is in the list on the website.

If you download the latest version of PICprog2006 you can see a list of all supported devices, 18F452 is not supported.

because the 8048 program 18f452 with DL4YHF’s PIC Programmer for Windows then the 8073 too…
