Hi there, I can’t seem to get any of the software to work, the K8045_editor will only generate run-time error 383 when I attempt to launch it, and the text_to_RS232 application will not install due to error 8002. I have tried Installing both of these on two separate computers running vista and XP, but both just generate these errors.

These applications were written in the days when computers were all equipped with COM1 and COM2.
Most likely, you do not have a COM1 on your PC. Renaming the COM ports will solve the problem.
