FM Radio Mini Kit MK118RS - Questions and help please

Hello there,

I picked up a FM Radio Mini Kit MK118RS and my nephew and myself put it together. All components are in their appropriate spots, however we aren’t getting any power. We purchased a 12VDC 300mA adapter to plug into the unit, as it takes 12VDC 100mA.

Any ideas where to start?

We don’t have much electronic experience, just installing and soldering. All soldering connections seem okay.

If you could post Very Clear and Sharp Top and Bottom pictures on a free service somewhere so they can be looked at
that would be a good start.
Is the LED coming on?
Is there any sound coming out of it at all?

No sound coming out of it, and the LED isn’t lighting up.
