Copyright Question

Hello,

I am a German author for technical documents for distance learning.

I would like to use the VM110 for our technical students for learning about controling hardware with the PC.
Technical problems are solved, we will use Visual Studio 2010 and C++.

It would be very helpful for my documentation, if I could use some of the graphics and source code examples, that appear in your documentation that came with the card or are to find in the web.

Is there any copyright problem, if I do it?

Would you allow to use these items in my documentation and what do I have to mention on the pages where I use it or what do I have to write in the foreword.

Thank you very much

If you mention that all examples are based on the Velleman VM110, then there is no problem to use our artwork/source.

I have a similar question, it might be the same question…

I want to start documenting my projects and experiences with various cards and devices, but inorder to illustrate the projects I would like to ‘borrow’ art, photos and diagrams relating to my projects from vellaman’s websites and or the documentation. Here is an example I have done http://www.stubbssoft.co.uk/K8055/VM132VM110.htm, am I okay to continue with this?

Chris

There is no problem as long as it is not used for commercial purposes.
