Hi to all,
I’d like to control the speed of a AC motor via the K2636 that I own.
I need to interface it to a PIC.
I’m thinking about a PWM controlled PNP Switch instead of the POT (the control circuit and the power circuit will be optocoupled).
What do you think?

Velleman does not support modifications. (maybe other members?)
I’d like only to know if it will works.
I know I’m modifing the circuit and the warranty does not cover this kind of mod.

How about using K8064? I know it is lighting dimmer but could do your job anyway… 
Motor control with a K8064 is not possible.
