So many timer kits, so I need a little help to make a choice
Here is what I need:
Thermostat closed : Valve #1 open Valve #2 closed
Thermostat open : Valve #1 closed and valve #2 open for a 10 to 30 sec. delay.
I have seen many kits but they do not always detail in the PDF if they are able to do the timer on thermostat open (or button released, same)
The K8041 timer looked great but the problem is that the fan turns on at the same time as the light. (may be it is possible to change this as I need it to turn on when thermostat goes off)
K8008 looks OK do do the job and runs under 220 volts
MK111 looks OK too and runs under 24 volts (have to add 220 v relay after or buy 24 volts electromagnetic valves).
If we understand correctly, valve 1 is controlled by the thermostat and does not need a timer.
Valve 2 needs a timer, e.g. VM141 (12V)
Possibly, you will need an extra relay.
Thank you for your answer, a little late but as long as we have what we need. ;o)
Lets explain:
Valve 1 does not need a timer and is open and closed by thermostat.
1°) thermostat closed, engine is running valve one is open (no timing just thermostat controlled)
2°) thermostat open engine is still running valve 1 is closing and valve 2 is opening, valve 2 and engine are stopped after 30 seconds.
When valve 1 shutsdown, valve 2 opens at the exact time of valve 1 shutdown and for a 30 seconds delay (this is done with the same thermostat that closed valve1).
We have proposed a timer, based on the info you supply and our interpretation of it. (see above)
Please check the manual of this timer, in order to find out if it suits your application.
