Well my latest print was almost done and the machine just stopped and this was the error code I am getting any Ideas?
Did you update your computer to Windows 10 ?

Try disconnecting the Printer from USB and reboot.
Then reconnect.
Sounds like the Wondows com port driver hangs.

Sounds like the Wondows com port driver hangs.[/quote]I done that several times now. I have also reinstalled the com port drivers tried changing setting in the printer setting. Changed USB cables, checked all the USB solders.
Does the printer connect in repetier?

What you can try then is go to device manager and show all hidden devices.
To enable that function you must set an Evironment variable :
DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES and set its value to 1
Then reboot and enable schow hidden devices in windows device manager.
After doing so, remove all serial port devices and uninstall their drivers, reboot and reinstall the drivers.
If that still doesn’t help your board may be faulty.
I am thinking my board is screwed so will have to send it off, gutted as I just got this bloody thing 3 prints and it poops out on me.
Would you have any idea on how to install a ramp 1.4?

Windows often gets in trouble with the USB com ports.
Did you try another PC yet?

I have a K8200 and i get the same message “communication timeout - reset send buffer block”.

- Can connect to printer can´t send any commands to it.
- i can upload new firmware with Arduino software.

Your communication settings are incorrect.
Set them to :
Baudrate : 250000
Reset on Connect : disabled
then it should work

Hi I am experiencing this same issue with
Communication timeout - reset send buffer block interrupting my prints but when I go into my printer settings in repetier I do not have the reset on connect option so may there be some other issue for me or am I missing something simple here? I’m running repetier 1.5.6.
My settings read as follows:
Connector: Serial connection
Port: COM4
Baud Rate: 250000
Transfer protocol: AutoDetect
Reset on emergency: Send emergency command and reconnect
Receive Cache Size: 127
Communication timeout: 40

your description sound like you are using down level software (0.84)
If this is true remove it and install this one 0.95F
