Audio sample rate of K8098 analyzer

I just purchased and assembled one of the k8098 kits and I have one question to ask. Is there a way to further slow the audio sample rate?

I ask this because I was planning on using the k8098 to sample the audio output of OEM amplified car audio systems to determine if any audio signal filtering is being used in the outputs to the speakers (HP, LP or Full Range). The issue I have is that when I play a 0db pink noise track using the 1/3 octave analyzer, the displayed signal fluctuates enough to make determining the exact signal difficult. I have had the same fluctuations using an AudioControl RTA, but it can slow the sample rate to the point where a pink noise signal becomes a fairly stable straight line.

Is there any way to do this with the k8098?

Lowering the sample rate would require a firmware modification and unfortunately that is not something we can offer.
Furthermore, we’re sorry, but for copyright reasons we cannot supply the firmware.
