Amplifier K8060: capacitor C11

Hi,

I’m building the power audio amplifier K8060. In the kit box there is a 100uF capacitor por C11 but in the diagram of the circuit the value of this capacitor is 470uF. Please, could you tell me wich is the correct one for C11?

Thank you in advance,

Hi,

Did you mount the 470uF in C10?

No, I mounted another 100uF capacitor in C10. In the kit box there was two 100uF capacitors, and there wasn’t any 470uF capacitor.

C11 must be 470µF. Please check the content of your kit carefully.
If you cannot locate a 470µF cap in your kit, then please supply an address so that we can mail you a spare cap.

All right, I’ve checked the content of the kit, but I’m afraid there was a mistake in the selection of the components and two 100uF capacitors were dropped in the kit box instead one of 470uF and one of 100uF.

The only thing I wanted to know was the correct value for C11 in case there were any updating in the design of the amplifier. You confirmed it is 470uf, and that’s I just needed.

Thank you very much for your help. Don’t worry about the 470uf capacitor, I’ve recycled one from an old PC motherboard.

Happy to read you have sorted it out.
