I assembled the K6002 and K6001. Now I’m trying to calibrate the K6001 temperaturesensor. I’ve adjusted OFFSET so that there’s 0V between R2 and R7 (the ends that the arrow on the print points at). Then I connected to K6002 and adjusted ZERO to indicate 0 degrees Celsius (yes, melting ice and everything…) That was easy. Now I’m trying to adjust GAIN to indicate 100 degrees Celsius in boiling water but I can’t seem to adjust it higher than 79,5 degrees Celsius. What do I do wrong?
Make sure assembly is correct. Check metal film resistor values.
Can you please check the 3524 IC on the K6001. Please let us know the brand name and type.
Resistor R2 seems not to have the 1-5-0-2-1 colourcode. The (hard to distinguish) coulours are: brown -(white, yellow or grey)- black - (orange or red) - brown. Could this cause the problem?
The 3524 IC is TI (Texas Instruments) coded “O3AQ3FM E4” and “SG3524N”.
Trimmers are mounted: RV1: H102
RV2: H204
RV3: H502
